WWe started Hometown Coffee because we’ve always had a passion for creating warm, welcoming spaces and a drive to build something of our own. Growing up in Austin, our connection to the community runs deep, and this coffee trailer felt like the most natural way to give back. We wanted to create a spot where people feel seen, not sold to - a place where you can start your day with a smile, a good cup of coffee, and the sense that you belong. No inflated prices, no ego, no corporate polish, just honest coffee from people who care.

Founded by Jayce in January 2025 and joined shortly after by his sister Shara, Hometown Coffee is truly a family endeavor. Rooted in Austin and raised in Pflugerville, we’re passionate about creating a space that celebrates community, conversation, and the comfort of feeling at home. 

What makes us different? 

Hometown Coffee isn’t about trends or corporate vibes, it’s about good coffee, kind people, and real connection. We’re different because we don’t overcharge, overcomplicate, or overthink it. We just care a lot-about the drinks we serve, the folks we serve them to, and the community we’re proud to be part of.

We only use house-made syrups and craft every recipe with purpose and attention to detail, mainly from our own experiences and tastes. 

Why the name "Hometown Coffee"?

We spent months trying to think of an avant garde, trendy, eye-catching name for the coffee shop. Like so many things in life, we were overthinking it. We’re from here. Austin raised us, nurtured us, and instilled values in us. It’s our hometown - simple as that.
